CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM

How in the world
can we discourage criminal acts such as in the Casellas case from happening
in the future when the convicted criminal ends up in an all expense paid top
class mainland resort? Other people considering similar acts of violence
will not find their will diminished if they are sure their penalty will be
at the worst an all expense paid vacation for years to come.
The penal system
MUST go back to the modus operandi of the early part of the last century,
when criminals faced forced labor. To avoid competing and thus upseting the
business world let’s go back to rock crushing. Each criminal gets a sledge
hammer and a huge rock to convert into gravel. He must work nonstop from 6
am to 6 pm every day of the week, rain or shine. When the word gets out,
people like Casellas will think twice before firing 14 shots into their
wife.
